The 'born' supremacy: The draft and the reality of sex
This week, the U.S. government reaffirmed the Genesis 1:27 view of sex.
“So God created man in his own image. In the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.” — Genesis 1:27
“The Military Selective Service Act authorizes the registration of ‘male persons’, ages, 18-25.” Micheal Migliara, spokesman, U.S. Selective Service System.
The Bible-endorsed view of sex was reaffirmed this week by the U.S. Government.
In a new round of stories to the effect of — “men have to register for the draft, but do transwomen?” — the government answered clearly: Yes.
This might come as a shock if you’ve read news stories where biological men are allowed to join women’s sports teams, and biological men are placed in women’s prisons.
Those allowances are only possible when gender, which is a matter of self-identification, is granted supremacy over sex, which is real.
The Selective Service plays along with gender ideology — up to a point.
Its page on Transgender People starts with the truth: “U.S. citizens or immigrants who are born male and changed their gender to female are still required to register. Individuals who are born female and changed their gender to male are not required to register.”
In that paragraph, the draft service talks about human reproduction the way people always have. People are born girls and boys.
In the next, gender ideology takes over. People are no longer born boys and girls, they’re “assigned” a sex at birth.
Notice what’s being done here, with use of the word “assigned.”
“Assigned” is an attempt to bring sex down, on to equal footing with gender. In this argument, sex and gender are both, basically, made-up. One is “assigned” at birth — no one ever says by who — and the other is assigned later, by the individual.
“Assigned” is an attempt to “immanentize the eschaton.” To attribute to man’s hands choices made by God. It’s a lie, every time you see it.
Even if we accept the word, the assigner is God. Not the doctor, not the child’s parents. Sex is a choice made on high. By God, not by humans. In no way is it equal to self-identification. No feat of language can make it so.
When the drums of war start beating, and America needs bodies to fight it, the “born” supremacy will win out. Women who identify as men will not be called on to contribute. There is a such thing as men, there is a such thing as women, and the war machine wants the men. Period.
In the kinder and gentler U.S. military, they’ll call you by any name and pronoun you prefer.
But ultimately, however you identify, you will render your body unto Uncle Sam. Just like everybody else.
Truth prevails one way or another. 👏
